A great addition to Glenallachie’s Virgin Oak series finished in French oak hogsheads from Haute-Garonne at the foot of the Pyrenees. It’s a subtle, earthy dram with herbal honeys, chocolate and coffee beans on the nose and fine tannins that linger on the palate.

An impressive addition to batch three of GlenAllachie’s Virgin Oak Series. Basically, this single malt spent seven years maturing, initially in American oak bourbon barrels, before spending around 18 months finishing in fresh Hungarian oak casks.

This excellent single-malt from the GlenAllachie has been resting for ten years – including a finishing period of around eighteen months in air-dried Chinquapin Oak casks, sourced from the famous Ozark Mountains in Missouri. It’s part of the distillery’s Virgin Oak series.
